Neighborhoods in this region range from middle class homes to posh gated communities. More upscale homes can be found along the river and are an enviable area due to its docks and water access. One of the most prestigious, private neighborhoods along the river is Riverlake. A number of parks are nestled throughout the area, including Marriott Park, Charter Point park, Shore park, and Garcia Bend Park. Garcia features a boat ramp, soccer field, Tennis courts, and its own play area. Both Greenhaven and the Pocket are primarily residential areas, with shopping centers, restaurants, coffee shops, and gyms skirting the area. Local favorites like ABC Bakery are some of the neighborhood gems. The Sacramento River bike trail is nearby and  popular for birding, road biking, walking, running and walking the dog. The private schools Brookfield and Camellia Waldorf are conveniently located in this area.
